PostaHouse, Italy: An Invitation

In the middle of the Apennine Mountains, approximately 2 hours North-East of Rome, there is a small town called Posta at the junction of several roads. 

This is a place with history. A place where one could change horses and get a well-earned rest for the night. A place of tradition, with knowledge of the old ways as well as the new.

It was once home to Serena Anderlini-D'Onofrio's father, a well-respected parliamentarian; now Serena is using this magnificent house and its garden as the basis for her vision - to build an ecologically sustainable community based on the precept "A world where it is safe to love is a world where it is safe to live!"

Serena calls this a "Love Laboratory" - a place in transition where we learn how to live with one another and hold one another as we release those things which stop us from living a life of love to the full (see Serena's introduction on the left.)

It is a place for retreats, for workshops, for meetings, for music and art, for those deep spiritual ceremonies which connect us with everything in Heaven and on earth and each other. I have been invited to help get the house and land ready for the summer and the activities being planned there.

For me, John Overton, it is an immense privilege to be part of this process; it is an answer to a deeper dream and vision I have long had inside me. For my part, I bring music, shamanic transformation, acupressure, Rebirthing and spiritual ceremonies based on some of the wisdom from Christal Temple - the Divine Communion of Hieros Gamos - the Sacred Marriage (see my website www.christaltemple.com .) I am convinced that for many of us re-connecting our deepest sexual origins with everything else we do is a pre-requisite to be able to co-create a sustainable, joyous future together with Mother Earth in these challenging times. It is my prayer, my desire and hope that those who resonate with these sentiments will be part of the PostaHouse network and circle and, maybe consider joining us.
